Where heritage is shaped by hand and heart
Here, we feature some local goods producers and small businesses to support and celebrate the creativity and product innovations of Northern Thailand.

Goldenland Solidarity Collective
Our collective formed in response to the need for humanitarian aid and income support in the wake of the military coup in Myanmar. The first artisans we worked with were civil disobedience staff members who had fled to Thailand and could not leave their safehouses to find formal work.
We seek to tell stories and celebrate cultural heritage through handicrafts and affordable art/gifts. We prioritize supporting women and marginalized communities whenever possible. Though our capacity is small, we continually try to develop new protest art and imagery that reflect the value of human rights and democracy.
In our little space, we hope to build economic solidarity between Thai and Myanmar communities, and to invite the global community to hear untold stories from Myanmar. We believe that building solidarity is the key to disrupting the violence around us. Solidarity will change the world.

Padumaroot means “the roots of the lotus”—a shop where Myanmar and Thai traditions bloom through textiles, crafts, and culture. Rooted in heritage, inspired by connection, and made to share stories across borders.
